Peanut Butter Pie

(Recipe for greased one 9" pie pan)
 
Ingredients & Directions:

1 pre-made pie crust of your choice OR you can make the crust:
 
In medium bowl, combine:
1/8 cup Crisco shortening
1/8 cup margarine
¼ cup brown sugar, packed
Mix above thoroughly, then stir in:
½ cup flour

Press and flatten to cover or 9” pie pan, including sides.
Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.
Put baked crust in refrigerator and CHILL COMPLETELY before you put the Peanut Butter Pie mixture into it.

Peanut Butter Pie Mixture:
 

In large bowl, combine:
1 – 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 ½ cup powdered sugar
Then, beat the about ingredients with a mixer, thoroughly.

Then add into above mixture:
1 ½ cup Peanut Butter
1 teaspoon milk
Mix thoroughly.

You are now done with the mixer.
DO NOT USE MIXER FOR MIXING THE COOL WHIP INTO PEANUT BUTTER MIXTURE.

Get yourself a big spoon, and fold in:
1 – 8oz. container of cool whip
Fold in thoroughly until mixed well.

Then pour/spoon into pie crust, cover and let chill overnight.
Serve topped with whipped cream drizzled with chocolate syrup.
