Brownies

(Recipe for greased 13" x 9" x 2" pan)
 
Ingredients & Directions:
 
1 cup Vegetable Oil
2 cups Sugar
4 eggs
2/3 cups Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa
 
Use a fork or a spoon (DO NOT use a mixer) and mix the above ingredients together. 
 
 
Add:
 
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
 
And continue mixing with a fork or a spoon.
 
Then add:
 
1 1/3 cups Flour
 
Mix thoroughly with a fork or a spoon until well mixed.
 
Spread in a greased only (NO flour) 13" x 9" x 2" pan.
 
Bake at 350 for about 35 - 45 minutes or until done*.
 
*If you check for doneness with a toothpick, check the side with the toothpick, you cannot test the center like a cake, and the toothpick should NOT come out clean, again, like a cake, OR the Brownies will be over-done, therefore, the toothpick should be almost clean when tested on the side.  Also, another way to tell is when the top of the batter, especially the sides, start to crack slightly, then they should be baked enough.
